Not your basic White Kitchen -- contemporary glam

This dated kitchen needed a total gut and rethink. With 4 openings to other areas, support columns whose removal was not in the budget, plus a small footprint that narrowed from front to back, we had many challenges to overcome. Once we decided to replace an obstructive peninsula with an island, we found the key to creating a space with great flow and functionality. Add to that a custom banquette and lots of style and swagger, and you have much more that a basic white kitchen!
