N44° 44' 19" is a nordic-inspired expression of modern minimalism. Two intersecting gable forms create an clear representation of the rooms within—a garage and living quarters, connected with a transitional mudroom space.

The materials remain simple, changing only when the forms are give way to outdoor spaces. The interior is tranquil, orienting views to capture the woods and lake beyond. A small plunge pool and deck are contained by the forms of the home and garage, creating a contained quiet space to unwind before retreating indoors.
