The granddaughter of a long time client contacted us when she decided to relocate from a small apartment in NYC to a large house in Nashville, TN. The homeowner is also the founder of a lifestyle website and blog Fashionable Hostess. We used the style that shows through on her website as the inspiration for our design concept. The house was very traditional and fussy looking and in dire need of being updated and freshened up. The fabrics and wallpaper that were existing in the house were very heavy but the bones of the house were great. We changed the wallpapers, paint colors carpeting, window treatments, kitchen countertop & backsplash and all decorative hardware which updated the basis of the house. We then selected all new hip furniture, decorative light fixtures and accessories which completed the transformation of this to the fabulous new home of this young and successful family. We thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with the Fashionable Hostess on this project…her vision and creativity really set the tone for a beautiful final outcome.
