Neo classic kitchen
This kitchen is nothing short of perfection! This homeowner's impeccable taste was so inspiring that my job was half done by the end of our first meeting. She didn't ask for much, only for the best! And the best she did receive. The kitchen before had no personality with builder grade cabinets and hardly any useful counter space. We have changed the layout drastically by moving the refrigerator into the corner, extending a countertops to the right of the cooktop and even adding a peninsula allowing for some comfortable seating. Former refrigerator wall was transformed into a wet bar area complete with a bar sink, wine cubby and glass holders. We built the cabinetry in Shannandoah Maple cream with Butterscotch glaze. Countertops are done in rich Tocana Quartz and the edges are finished with ogee edge. My approach here was creating multiple layers of interest throughout the space and spicing up the overall monochromatic color scheme with interesting textures. The backsplash is done in travertine mosaics and the floor is done in 18x18 white porcelain tile. We also added two layers of lighting: under cabinet lights as well as two over the peninsula pendants. The most intricate 5! Layer crown was installed around the perimeter of the entire room and the refrigerator and the dishwasher were both paneled to make them part of the cabinetry. This neo classic beauty is a great example of homeowner’s fine taste and is a sure show stopper!
