This kitchen was one of my favorite transformations yet. It had great potential but lacked any kind of character or modern convenience. It did a complete 180 degree turn from being run down, lifeless and beat up to a cheerful, airy and up beat! By introducing bold black and white pattern to the floor we were able to visually widen the space. White cabinets are topped with pale teal colored Silestone quartz in “Cygnus” and the backsplash couldn’t be more timeless than 3x6 subway tile in clear glass. No midcentury kitchen can be complete without white apron sink and 50s inspired faucet. Fresh coat of stone blue paint ties together everything together.
