This was a total home transformation. Typical of our old south neighbourhood, this home had small rooms with little storage. Built in cabinetry is the best way to solve these issues, especially when you open the space up. Adding French doors to an second bedroom that is primarily used as office space allows light from the back yard into the main living space. The bathroom has become fully accessible with the entire floor one level, with the new Wedi Lingo floor system. The kitchen is transformed to handle today's appliances and also a custom island with storage that gives a nod to yesteryear is perfect for guests and extra space and the butcher block gives provides lots of food prep space.. Even the custom columns that divide the living and dining space have storage. The front hall closet is removed to give more space and a little nook created under a window accommodates coats.
