Moving the laundry room from the unfinished basement to the main level has been one of the highlights of this main level remodeling project. With two bedrooms on the main level and one upstairs, this is an ideal location to meet the demands of daily living.

This before picture shows the two walls surrounding the kitchen that were removed to create the new open floor plan. Taking down the walls brightens up the kitchen area and allows for an island to be included in the design.

The original kitchen was small and closed in which was frustrating for gatherings because everyone wants to hang out in the kitchen. By removing the wall between the dining room and kitchen as well as the one to the left (not pictured) created a new open concept.
