Ambler Design collaborated with Gristmill Builders on this new residential home in Stowe Hollow, Vermont. An upper level patio offers a covered outdoor seating area adjacent to the home's family room. With a built in barber grill and surrounding outdoor fireplace, it is surely a place to enjoy family and friends.
The grade at the back of the house, falls away to reveal a walkout basement with access to a hot tub. To transition the grade to the lower level, Ambler design and installed several dry stack stone walls integrated with massive boulders. Stone stairs wine between the walls and boulders, connecting the upper patio to the hot tub. A simple design palette of ornamental grasses, heuchera and sedum along with the lush lawn highlight the exterior and landscape of this stunning new home.
