Ambler Design designed and built an iconic new entry landscape at one of Stowe's most popular restaurants, Piecasso. A new post and beam addition which houses an expanded bar required a design that could creatively and efficiently move guests from the parking lot within a constrained project site. The new entry now features a multi-level patio and double sided stone seating wall, and a curving accessible path guiding guests to the main door. This design creates ample outdoor space for guests to wait for a table or enjoy a slice in the sun. Native shrubs, ornamental grasses and a mix of perennials create a colorful and textured landscape. The centerpiece to it all is the unique stone plinth topped by a steel firebox that flickers at night, inviting guests in for some food and fun.
