This beautiful patio was a setting to be transformed, quickly! The client was renting a lovely house and decided that there just had to be a summer party. Since we had provided all of the interior furnishings, he turned to us to make this next space fit the mood.
The client asked to have the whole patio transformed from emptiness to the perfect summer party location. The party was planned to take place in two weeks. Everything was purchased or ordered to arrive within one week, a true feat for such a remote location.
The final design included a dining area, bbq space, lounge and a wonderful spot to watch the sun set. Everything from rugs, furniture, equipment, accessories, lighting, and plantings were pulled together to complete the party space.
The color scheme was developed to brighten up the dark pallette of the patio. We wanted it to reflect a modern approach to a mid century house in the mountains. We paired the solid gray tables and dining chairs with bold blue and green accent pieces and rugs. The client loved the unique chairs we found that were highlighted against the solid tone of the house and deck.
