This new fully functional small house is proposed to accommodate a wide variety of uses: a guest house, office/studio, and cabana. It also provides a secondary living space for the main house, a place of retreat at water's edge of the existing pool.
In the future it could serve as a 'granny flat' or a caretaker's living space in order to make possible a multi-generational household. It utilizes universal design features such as wide doorways, low thresholds, a generous bath with a roll-in shower, and easily reached fixtures.
