We loved collaborating with these clients on their front and backyard landscaping! The new landscaping is an extension of their beautiful custom home. The backyard is truly an urban outdoor oasis for lounging and entertaining with a flagstone patio, walkways, and gardens that contain unique features like a boulder, a water fountain, and art from the clients previous homes. The gardens are small but impactful planted with katsura and eastern redbud trees, pyramidal boxwood, moss, thyme, and a variety of flowering perennials- all contained by a hot rolled steel garden edge.

The main front yard feature is the perennial garden itself- planted with groupings of colourful shade perennials, boxwood lining the path, a focal weeping Japanese maple, and mass planted hakone grass around a large cast iron urn filled with seasonal plantings. A corten steel retaining wall, flagstone paths, and a composite deck complete the hardscaping. All together it makes for outstanding curb appeal!
