In Cambridgeport a surprisingly open and verdant landscape unfolds around a triple decker home. The Owner wanted space for entertaining, and for their kids and pets to play. We removed a preponderance of walls and level changes and created one long flowing lawn space that leads to a large bluestone patio, punctuated by a small raised deck. The deck is the setting for a single hammock, which can be taken down to allow the deck to double as a stage for performances by the Owner's two daughters.

We collaborated with the Architects, whom the Owner had engaged to design a new 3 season room off the back of their new Cambridgeport home to ensure that the inside flowed naturally to the outside.
