This project began with an asphalt driveway, repaved with granite cobbles as a nod to the historic nature of the Harvard neighborhood. Stepping stone paths in tan gravel helped to solve issues with poor drainage while allowing for easy circumnavigation of the house, and an existing deck that serves multiple units benefitted from robust planting in the ground and in pots to define and subdivide the space.
