Secret Patio

On the top floor, in a busy tourist area of San Francisco, is a small house with a secret patio, hidden from public view. All rooms of the home look out onto the charming jewel of a garden. Whimsical, with fanciful iron work, the garden space provides natural light and a charming focal point. Inside, strategically placed mirrors, such as the one to the left of the fireplace, serve to expand the feeling of the space. In the kitchen, open shelving lends a feeling of airiness. A former laundry area at the back of the kitchen was transformed into a home office. This works perfectly for the home owner who loves to cook and take care of professional business at the same time.
