Clients: During the COVID-19 pandemic, this vibrant family of six embarked on a home renovation journey in Shadow Hills. With both parents serving as doctors and four children under ten, the need for a backyard that offered both entertainment and serenity became paramount. While the underground water harvesting tank was already in place, our design leveraged its functionality to support both the pool and the landscaping. Utilizing harvested water minimizes calcium deposits in the pool and ensures efficient irrigation for the edible garden. This strategy not only underscores an eco-friendly lifestyle but also enhances the outdoor living space with a sleek, modern aesthetic.

Family-Friendly Spaces: Crafting a landscape that caters to both adult leisure and children’s play presented an exciting challenge. The design needed to be sophisticated for the adults while offering engaging, safe play areas for the children. The solution was multifaceted, incorporating versatile play zones like a trampoline area surrounded by cast stone pebble seats and sports courts, ensuring spaces the family can enjoy together and individually as the children grow.

Practical Yet Stylish Solutions: The outdoor shower, cleverly tucked away to offer privacy, and the gravel driveway, are thoughtful touches that combine practicality with style.
