Sleek Modern Home

Our design goal was to create a bold and dramatic kitchen that was timeless, elegant and inviting and become the focal point and heart of the client’s new open floor plan.

A large rectangular island with waterfall slab ͞blocks͟ on either end was used to define and anchor the kitchen. These end blocks provided a practical space for entertaining, serving as gathering areas for people to congregate in the kitchen and leaving the clients ͞cooking space͟ open.

We also used the front side of the long island to create a linear rectangular floating block suspended in-between the two waterfall end pieces which is placed at bar height for comfortable seating while entertaining.
