Transitional Bathroom with Elegance
The requests for the remodel were to remove the dated roman tub/shower and glass block wall and create space for a separate shower, a free standing tub and vanity for two. The clients also requested their beautiful chandelier be used within the design. Photography by Greg Weiner.
A major challenge was to create a shower area in the small room. This was achieved by building the shower in a corner and fitting it with a hand held shower and rain shower head. A pony wall dividing the toilet from the shower was a perfect space to create a low niche in the shower to hide products. In order to add texture to the walls, we used a chiseled, rectangular mosaic.
