Zen Master Bath Sanctuary

This bathroom originally had a minimalist, European feel which did not have the warmth and serenity the homeowners wanted for their Master Bath. Arch-Interiors Design Group, inc. was hired to transform this room into a peaceful retreat.

The ceiling was dropped above the shower and a large clear glass enclosure was added to delineate the shower from the tub. This gave the sense of a large luxury shower and less of a stark locker room feeling.

The graceful spill of the waterfall tub filler can stand alone as a water feature. Rocks were added around the perimeter of the tub for a spa like feeling.

The focal point is a full height wall faced in wood with various sized lit niches for decorative items. The wood brings a warm juxtaposition to the harder stone surfaces.

A large stone bench was added to look like a piece of furniture, giving more purpose to the generous size of the shower.

We created a custom vanity with above-counter sinks in organic shapes. Water fall faucets appear again here for an unexpected detail. A wood framed mirror with marquis-like overhang houses downlights.

Crystal sconces are installed directly on the mirror and flank the inset medicine cabinets which give added storage with seamless look.
