This charming old house needed a bigger kitchen, but has a small lot and limited room for expansion. Building a small addition off the attached garage allowed us to claim a big enough space for an eat-in kitchen with lots of windows and a new informal entry. We designed a new window bay with a heavy stone corbel to match the house's other bays, and extended the copper roofing.
