In this Calgary kitchen renovation, we transformed an unusable 1980's layout into a configuration that could accommodate a growing family. This meant adding custom cabinetry and a custom millwork workhorse island to give the family increased work surfaces and storage space. In an effort to further increase storage, we incorporated lighted glass cabinets that we carried all the way to the ceiling. A creamy colour palette is accented by warmly hued granite countertops, while the dark hardwood floors ground the kitchen and dining room. Luxury light fixtures and an appliance wall add a high end touch to this fully functional family kitchen.
