We created a special Hangout for Teens. Mom & Dad wanted the floors to be able to withstand "wet" feet coming and going from the pool. As such, the center area is clad in travertine laid in an ashlar pattern. The flanking TV area and billiards room sport a warmer engineered hand-scraped hardwood floor We were challenged with a low ceiling - and actually wound up dropping the ceiling above the bar which helped create a cozy feeling at the bar while giving the illusion of height in the main areas.
