The Farm House
Modern rustic farmhouse with spectacular views of open field located in the heart of Vermont. This house was placed in an open haying field surrounded by Vermont Field Stone wall. The barn frame is a reclaimed hemlock frame that was relocated, restored and assembled on site. The antique barn was married to new construction. The interior finishes are a mixture of rustic natural materials and faux reclaimed antique beams in the main living space. Pella Windows throughout the house, rocky mountain hardware, oak kerf cut flooring, rope light system and a central field stone chimney. Lots of attention paid to the details which contributed to the over look and feel of this functional modern farmhouse. Great job of marrying new construction with old reclaimed materials. Spectacular views and simply a great place to get away and relax.
