This two-story living & dining room space played on the rustic landscape that surrounds it. An original barn wood wall anchors this large space, while the ample amount of windows takes in an abundance of natural lighting. With a little wall paint in place we divided up the two spaces into zones that are cohesive and inviting. This couple loves to have friends & family over, so having enough seating and entertaining space was a must.

After putting together the needs, wants and must-haves we selected furniture, fixtures and finishes that will grow with this young couple. The couch and chairs were selected with little ones in mind so durability and stain resistant furniture was of high priority. They also wanted to take advantage of the indoor-outdoor feeling which inspired the color palette and design direction. To not take away from the scenery we went with sheer drapery, grounded their seating space with an area rug, added a gallery wall that can be expanded over time and included a variety of chair and bench seating around the dining room table. For the finishing touches, we carefully selected wall art and decor that matched the homeowners' laid back personality to tie this rustic look together.
