The beautiful view froom this bay area is obsured by the sheers. It makes the room seem smaller.

The old kitchen was very dated and the frig was too deep. I specified a shallower frig for the new space plan. We also bought a new microwave/vent hood to save space. We kept the existing stove and dishwasher, because the client had recently replaced them and was happy with them.

The old plan divided the breakfast area from the kitchen with the peninsula countertop and different flooring. This makes the space seem much smaller. The new plan replaces the cold slate flooring with a warm wood that extends all the way into the breakfast area, unifying both spaces.
