This 4×6′ living wall is featured in the physical assessment and rehabilitation area of a multi-disciplinary health clinic in Markham, ON. 180 plants in the living wall are irrigated with a submersible pump located inside a custom stainless steel reservoir shown beneath. The pump is automated by a plug in timer and calibrated so each row of plants receives an optimal amount of water every week, without waste or overwatering. Special lights with a timer and dimmer were installed to ensure plants have optimal growing conditions in this area without natural light.
