This client hired us to reimagine their backyard and transform it into a series of inviting, attractive living and lounging spaces. They wanted a design that would cater to their family's daily routine as well as accommodate larger parties.

Our solution gives a sense of identity to each space, while allowing a comfortable flow and visual consistency throughout the entire yard. As you walk out their back door, the client is welcomed by two oversized outdoor couches, framed with a trellis, white curtains, and focussed around a low fire pit. Beyond this space, a meadow of tall grasses create a sense of movement. Walking into this space, you will discover a hanging cocoon bed, for lounging and napping.

The corner of the yard is anchored by a new raised deck, built around a store-bought spa. An outdoor shower and built-in bench provide additional amenities to this area. Behind the garage, a tranquil, private seating area allows for quiet moments of reflection. Finally, a built-in dining area makes the most of a tight space and creates the perfect setting for an outdoor meal.
