Wright Residence

This modern contemporary home, situated on the hillside in Cedar Hills, was the talk of the Parade of Homes. Incredible attention to detail in all aspects of this design is reflected in the smart use of space and materials. Partnering with renowned architect, Aaron Inouye, Platinum Landscape planned and executed a truly stunning landscape that has garnered international attention.
The contrasting water and fire features are breathtaking at night! The fully tiled multi-tier waterfall, flanked by two gas fire features, plays center stage in the backyard.

This view, enjoyed from the back porch and family room, is spectacular. Tongue and groove cedar slats are fixed on the concrete wall for added contrast and impact.

The backyard of this steep hillside was shaped and terraced using architectural concrete footing walls. These walls allowed us to maximize functional space while still maintaining the modern look and feel. A small patio, made with crushed granite, is tucked behind Hicks Yew and a Japanese maple....

Geometric concrete slabs pave the lowest level of the landscape. Natural grass, flanked by bamboo and hosts softens the slabs.

Tiered CorTen planter boxes reflect the geometry of the house. Custom metal boxes sit strategically alongside, and behind, raised Belgard paver walls. Strategic placement of low voltage LED lights illuminate the pathway to the front door.

Poured in place, 3'x3' concrete slabs flank an architectural concrete wall doubling as retention and seating area. Rows of plant material create a natural transition between the spaces.

Modern water feature, flowing from upper pool over multiple levels, until it lands in the infinity edge pool at the bottom. Blue pool tiles add a ton of pop to this space!

This hammock, tucked on an upper level tier, has views onto the lower patio and water feature. Steel posts are mounted at an angle so the hammock sits cleanly in the space. Steel bolt attaches the metal chain.
