1912 Overture Overturn

An historic home, Circa 1912, had been in the same family for generations, the new owners had a big job to restore and refresh the grand, but run-down property. The kitchen is located in the back of the house, and is un-traditional, in that there are no wall cabinets and space is allocated for antiques and art.

The full height backsplash is topped with an art ledge to allow for vintage pieces as well as seasonal decor and useful tray and board storage.

A custom work table was designed for the center of the kitchen, rather than an island, which is a nod to more simple times. Natural marble was used for the top, and it's ideal for dough and pastry prep.

Dishwasher drawers are integrated to be concealed and inconspicuous.
