A Baker's Dream Kitchen
The kitchen in the 1972 Berryessa home no longer served the needs of a family that loved spending time together baking. The tired tiled counter-tops, plywood cabinets, and vinyl floors had long outlived their lifespan. Additional counter space was top on the family’s wish list. By removing a partial wall, the designer opened up the kitchen to the adjoining dining room and created a large quartz peninsula with plenty of space for baking tasks. The cabinetry was designed with extra deep drawers for organized storage of dinnerware and cooking tools.
