This custom 1967 home was inherited by a young couple who engaged with us to remodel the Kitchen, Laundry, Family Room, and Entry. Nestled in a hillside location in Los Gatos, the 50-year-old home featured timeless details such as hardwood floors, open beams, and large picture windows that framed the hillside views. The home's 1970s pseudo-contemporary style and the living spaces lacked the open flow desired by a young family that loves socializing. The client's main objectives were to create flow, improve the kitchen's functionality, and develop a warm California aesthetic that reflects the family home's heritage and setting.
