The client's main goals were to update the builder-grade kitchen with failing cabinet finishes, update worn out appliances, brighten up the space, and to increase functionality and cabinet organization. Designer Alex Volosciuc worked with the homeowner to adapt the space to align with the client's evolved taste for a clean, contemporary, modern style that reduced the amount of surface clutter. Some notable change include extending the edge of the cabinetry beyond the wall to create a trash can cab and adding storage underneath the window.
