A City Apartment
This apartment is an ode to French Classicism. Located in a 1914 Beaux-Arts building with a curvaceous exterior facade, the use of ovals and circles as a recurring motif in the interior architecture was an obvious choice. With the support of our client, the apartment was gutted to allow complete flexibility in the new design. In this San Franciscan apartment, floor patterns were designed for each room, and the parquet de Versailles, chevron patterns, and radial chevrons were painstakingly distressed to look old.
