A multitude of objects collected by the owner can be found throughout this large, comfortable house. The client had fallen in love with the site, which was located on a hillside, and purchased the land the same day she toured it. She wanted to build a house on it that would feel like a 1920s Spanish Colonial residence, set deep in the woods on a hilltop. I created a house that would do so while also serving as a repository and exhibition space for her art collection.
