One of our long-time clients contacted us after moving from a tri-level to a newly built ranch-style home. She was looking to create a quiet, cozy area outside her master bedroom but also wanted to have a gathering spot for family and friends.

Senior Designer Lynn Cavanaugh has created a long-standing relationship with this client for over thirteen years and enjoyed working side-by-side with her to build her dream space. The design process was not without its challenges, as the crew needed to raise the grade by over two feet. The patio was designed with Techo Bloc Blu 60 in Shale Gray. By creating an expansive terrace that connected the master bedroom to the rest of the house, Lynn created two distinct spaces. The landscape around the house was designed to be a lower maintenance option with pollinator plants, Bee Balm and Saliva.

At the project's end, the client and the designer loved the space they had created together. The client could relax on her patio outside her bedroom and take in the natural beauty of her property.
