Our client came to us to create a modern, functional space for their growing family, which includes two small kids and a dog. After completing the initial build of their new home, they contacted us to create a space that would consist of privacy, an outdoor grill, landscape lighting and dreams of adding a pool and fire pit.

Landscape Architect Alexandra Hossfeld worked closely with the family to ensure her vision for the property matched theirs. Since the yard was a blank space, the ideas were endless. The client provided inspirational photos to Alexandra that helped her create the vision. By collaborating with the clients, Alexandra set out to develop a design that would complement the architectural style and color of the house.

The result was a beautiful, expansive patio connected to the home’s lanai. To achieve the modern feel, Alexandra designed the patio using large pavers that are trendy and match the home’s exterior perfectly. The patio includes seat walls for extra seating and a built-in custom BBQ with plenty of counter space for the clients to cook for their family.
