For this year’s Home-A-Rama show, we styled a custom-built home in Bargersville’s Aberdeen neighborhood, a wellness lifestyle community. Nothing short of home sweet home, the design features casual southern living complemented by European coastal elegance. We used a neutral color palette, accented by warm wood tones and the brilliant sunlight pouring into large windows throughout, to create a comfortable environment that feels close to nature. The space is open and airy to provide hospitable places to gather with friends and family.

For seamless indoor-outdoor living, we collaborated with the architect to add 10’ tall pocket doors to a wall leading to a custom covered porch design with a screen system. A luxurious basement entertainment area includes a unique home bar made of waterfall-edged quartz, a contemporary home theater design, and a sunken conversation pit with a fireplace.

The main living room design features a tapered plaster inspired fireplace with a cast stone mantel, which we extended to the kitchen interior design with a matching range hood. We added minimal, elegant iron handrails to stairs set against a continuous multi-story wall clad in vintage tumbled brick, and we collaborated with the builder to add matching brick window headers.
