With plans to relocate to Philadelphia, the Hawaii-based Owners selected Re:Vision to work with their realtor to evaluate multiple properties for architectural potential post-renovation. Once the right property was found, Re:Vision collaborated with the couple (one of whom was an architect for a university) to generate plans for an age-in-place gut rehab of the two-level condo. A spiral staircase was replaced with a straight run and the 2nd floor doubled in size by filling in parts of a mezzanine with salvaged flooring and adding a large skylight to maintain daylight. Everything was updated, from the kitchen and baths to HVAC systems, LED lighting, and ceiling insulation.
