An Ensuite
A bathroom space that has been opened up to create a luxurious ensuite with a natural feel. We pushed back the shower seat into the space behind the shower, which was formerly the master closet. The large shower now features natural marble, glass, and stone. The herringbone design of the tiles compliments the river pebbles used on the shower floor as well as the black and gold glass shower niche. The shower also features a rainfall shower head, handheld body spray, and a skylight which allows warm, natural sunlight to stream in. The matching faucets have a soft brushed nickel finish. A floating linen cabinet was added for storage, next to the floating vanity. Three cylindrical lights were added above the vanity, to add balance to the design. The client jointly selected the materials and was a part of the whole remodeling process. It's important to meet customer's needs. Establishing those needs is the fun part.
