The stairway was given touches of comfort and style including carpeting, handrails, and the same fresh white and yellow paint colors that keep this underground space feeling cheerful.
The project was completed by the homeowners, when they added a sofa, reading chair, coffee table, and buffet piece, along with some art on the walls.
