Arrowhead
The Arrowhead house was built as an example of the complete Tierra Concepts design and build vision. We wanted to create a project that exemplified the “contextual modern” design sensibility that was cultivated within our team at a time when we felt there was something vital missing in Santa Fe. The design is modern, but relies on the materials and finishes that have made Santa Fe style famous. The result is a contemporary home filled with warmth and evidence of craftsmanship, rather than the more hard-edged contemporary look that some find to be cold.
This project was an important milestone in the differentiation of Tierra Concepts and the particular vision and creativity we represent in the Santa Fe marketplace. In addition to the distinctive–and now much emulated design premise–we constructed all of the cabinetry, doors and furniture in house. Its a complete integration of all the trades and aspects of design and construction. For us, it was a bit of a throwback to our roots as tradesmen, but at whole new level of manifesting the inspired vision that represents Tierra Concepts.
