Atrium Alterations

This kitchen/atrium great room didn't have great flow with the step down. The owners like clean lines and the scalloped pieces of the kitchen needed to go. new white hardwood flooring was installed throughout the main floor, cabinets updated and painted, new countertop and backsplash installed.

Here is the atrium before we started work. The step down had grown tiresome and the novelty of the space had worn off.

Atrium Before

The kitchen before we began was dated and the flooring was showing wear.

Kitchen Before

The floor was leveled and the white hardwood floor was installed throughout the main floor. The railing to the basement was also updated.

Atrium After

The floor was leveled and the white hardwood floor was installed throughout the main floor. The railing to the basement was also updated.

Kitchen Updated

The scallops there were previously along the top of the cabinetry was removed to get rid of the dated feel. Cabinetry was painted and new backsplash and countertop installed. The sink and faucet were also updated.

Cabinetry Updated

Now the view from the kitchen is uninterrupted and the space feels cleaner.

You can see the flooring a little better as it stretches throughout the living areas.
