Designer, Mary Maney, was involved with this year’s ASID Showcase House – Kitchen, Mudroom & Grotto spaces. Homeowner and author of the book “The Blue Zones”, Dan Buettner expressed his desire to incorporate key elements from his book into each of the rooms. Providing the homeowner with a place to “have a seat” and “focus on food” lead to the design of the banquette seat with colorfully, textured pillows. The Peruvian rugs complimented the homeowners Retablo piece of art, which was also the inspiration for the overall color palette.
