Removing the wall that divided this Kitchen from the Living Room made all the difference. Before the space felt closed off and site lines to the beautiful wooded back yard were limited by hanging wall cabinets above the peninsula. Oak cabinets were replaced with creamy white cabinets and the Jeperana Persa granite counter top compliments the brick fireplace in the Living Room. A new open floor plan with a large island with seating for five and a new gas cooktop with downdraft vent creates an interactive cooking experience for guests. With a more functional layout and large island, this Kitchen is much more functional and enjoyable to be in.
