Bathroom Remodel #3

Here is a master bathroom remodel and hallway that we did to an older home down on St. Georges Island! New drywall, flooring, shower, sink/vanity, paint, and lights! Just see the transformation!

Before - Ceiling tiles in a bathroom is not the best with 7ft ceilings. Also, keep an eye on the light!

Before - Hallway floor was not level, and can cause a safety issue in the future

After - Taking out the old white sheet vinyl, we were able to add a little bit a warmth to the space by doing a nice wood style sheet vinyl.

After - Notice the toilet potitioning. By re-routing some plumbing, we were able to turn the facing point so your knees won't knock against the sink or feel cramped.

After - Changing the vanity to a pedistal sink helps maximizes the floor space, but also gives it a nice elegant touch.

After - By adding the medicine cabinet above the toilet, the homeowner doesn't loose storage space. Also, that mirror is a working medicine cabinet too! The glass shelf add a nice touch and functional storage space.

After - Yes, we took out that tub! Now, the bathroom looks MUCH bigger, and is great solution for turning this weekend get-a-way into a relaxing retirement.

After - With the clear sliding glass doors, it is not only functional, but helps create a sense that the room is bigger too.

After - Recessed niche for functional shampoo and soap storage, no wire rack!

After - A close-up of the bottom track for the slidding glass doors. It is a new design with a non-back, and sloped just slightly, that offers a better, easier clean.

After - We moved the existing light over and it became a recessed can in the shower, so it will be easier to see at night.

After - Looks completely different! A natural slate style sheet vinyl that makes an impression on your eyes, but not a huge shock to your wallet! The bead-board ceiling is all finished in a nice glossy white paint. We were able to fix the uneven floor, so it now has a clean, safe transition.
