Here, the client came to us seeking professional design help. After clearing the kitchen of everything, they wanted a show-stopping kitchen worthy of the house. The client loved to cook and entertain. With professional appliances, preparing a meal would be a breeze. One must-have was no kitchenette table, due to already having a formal dining area right off the kitchen. So, our designer came up with a solution to be able to prepare and entertain at the same time. How did she do that? With two islands! One provided a work surface and storage, where the other provided seating and wine! In addition to the islands, completely re-configuring the kitchen layout gave ample storage and provided two huge pantries. Of course, with changing the ground layout, the ceiling lights had to change too. To top it all off, under-cabinet lighting was added to highlight the back-splash and provide task lighting.
