This coastal home had classic cottage charm with small spaces and dated systems. New generational owners wished for improvements on all fronts and ample space to accommodate both family and friends. An increased sense of space was achieved by keeping sight lines open but rooms divided with custom built-ins to showcase beach treasures or to store media equipment out of sight. The architectural detailing is simple and graceful, and does not distract the eye from the expansive ocean views outside every window.
