The cottage sits on a knoll, with long views that sweep from the South Ledges in Quahog Bay in the east, to the calm waters of Card Cove in the west. Surprisingly, the original cottage was not designed to capture these views; the small dark rooms more like a rabbit-warren than a coastal Maine retreat.
