The coffee table has a padded edge, upholstered in navy blue leather. The center is a removable tray--very nice for serving cocktails! Custom accent pillows on both sofas livened up the beige sofas. Beige is a great upholstery color--it never goes out of style and pillows can be changed out...

We added 3 LED recessed cans overhead to properly light some treasured items. The long wood shelf is from Ballard Designs and the small floating shelves are from Ikea.

If a lamp is too short--stack some books under it! Pay attention to the titles, making them meaningful to you. That's called attention to detail!

Even an old recliner can be brought back to life with new upholstery! I always add welt in a contrasting color--even if it's subtle contrast. That welt shows off the shape of the piece.

The little orange leather pillow adds a lot to the space and pulls the colors of the artwork into sharper focus. Is that lamp a beauty or what? It was a Home Goods find--wish I had found 10 more like it!
