Reading and Relaxing

This homeowner called DeCocco Design in for a 2 hour consultation. She knew that she wanted to update this front room, but wasn't quite sure where to begin. We gave ideas, suggestions and resources and let her take it from there. She did a spectacular job! Now the room is a lovely introduction to the rest of the home.

Special pieces and books are thoughtfully arranged on the custom shelving unit. The new sofa is flanked by 2 gourd lamps on acrylic bases, providing adjustable lighting for reading or ambience.

A beautiful room is almost useless if it doesn't have enough lighting. These gourd lamps offer 3 levels of light and look pretty, pretty, pretty next to the soft sofa.

A much loved marble topped chest of drawers creates a lovely place for a lamp and family photos. The gilded oval mirror reflect the nearby bookshelves and the light from the opposite wall. It's the perfect room to have a visit with friends and family.

This stunning, hand-knotted wool rug deserves its own photo. The Tree Of Life motif is timeless, elegant and meaningful. The homeowners didn't want a coffee table covering it up!
